Ship Firm Aims To Help Remote Islands

THE Tokalau Shipping Company Limited, formerly known as Eastern Shipping, has bought its first vessel called Princess Civa — worth more than $0.5million — a move to provide shipping services to various islands in the Lau Group.

Members of the public turned up in numbers to attend the launching and naming ceremony that was held at Port Muaiwalu in Suva yesterday.
